This fabric is stripes of satin and chiffon. It has a wonderful drape as it has the matte finish from the chiffon and then the shimmer of the satin. It has a few shades of brown, silver grey and black. A classic.

This design evolved from a series I did of dragonflies crossing each other every possible way. The colors are many shades of brown and grey with a black background.

The teal is two toned because of the way the dye soaks into the satin versus the way it looks on the chiffon. Delicate flowers, leaves and spirals densly cover both ends of the scarf while the center is an open design of black flowers on teal.

Charmeuse is like liquid silk and this scarf combines the luxery of shimmer with acanthus leaves and hares painted in shades of taupe, brown and black.
