I have been busy the past three months painting my collection of spring scarves. It is always a creatively challenging event for me to plan a new season. I cast about for what the look will be and where my interest is and how to incorporate the seasons colors. Fun, but sometimes a little painful as not all of the work is successful. I am happy to say I have hit on it now and am loving just about every days paintings!
This year I was influenced by a project I am doing for the Lily House at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. They have beautiful hand painted silk on the walls of the living room and they asked me to create scarves with the floral and bird images.
